The house was so cool. Definitely if your a Kid from the 80's early 90's there's alot that you'll see and go I remember that. My wife and I originally rented the place just for the nostalgia of the 80's. Then to find out the place was an escape room too, it was great bonus to have as an option too. Place was very clean, and had great attention to detail on making the place fit the era but has modern day adminties such as wi fi, rudko, sound bar with with blue tooth capability. Nate and Rebecca are very nice and informative. Gave lots of info on recommendations for restaurants and activities to do in the area. My wife I had a great stay and wish we had more time to stay. Plan on revisiting again.

The level of detail that went into this listing was incredible and felt magical, especially at night with the floating candles. There was always a new detail to be noticed. Nate was kind enough to bring us some candy to hand out to trick or treaters. Highly recommend to anyone, even if you’re not a Harry Potter fanatic!!

It’s a beautiful little place to get lost for a couple of days. Honestly a pearl, would recommend 100%! Other than the place itself: clear instructions and a bunch of helpful advice and input right from the start! Thanks a lot Nate and Rachel! 🌻

We really enjoyed our stay at Mothmanor, which is the most creative Airbnb we have encountered. As others have said, the vibe is PG-rated horror that is more comfy than scary. The escape room is a lot of fun with many twists and turns that keep it interesting. The surrounding area is nice as well with a cute downtown and the National Park within a 10 minute drive. We highly recommend Mothmanor!

We had an absolute fabulous time! The Harry Potter theme kept the kids entertained and the escape room kept the kids and adults entertained. The decorations and accommodations were so creative and thoughtful. The hosts were communicative and went above and beyond providing local recommendations. This made planning our trip so much easier. I will definitely recommend their place to others! Thanks for a great stay!

Nate’s place was great. It is in a great spot that is close to all the trails. The camper itself was very nice and neat. We would definitely recommend to a friend!

We spent the days exploring the incredible New River gorge and the surrounding area a s our evenings playing games at this fantastic home. It was truly unique. The escape room was challenging and fun and there were so many games to play. We just wished we could have stayed longer.

What a wonderful stay at the game house!! Aside from a really peaceful and comfortable stay, the place was very unique. You could tell that quite a lot of thought went into the design of this place. It was truly lots of fun. We played some games that we haven't seen in years! At times we just wanted to hang out and not go do anything and just play games. Who actually hopes for rainy days on vacation? We were! Thanks for a great stay!

This is the place to step into your childhood reminiscing the good old days with so many nostalgic items. I’m still amazed with the experience! Funnest Air BnB stay I’ve ever had! We thought it would be fun, but was way beyond our wildest dreams here. Finding the secret room was like being a kid at Christmas for real & getting a prize toy from the 80’s & 90’s brought the kid in us back. We were sad we couldn’t have stayed longer! I wished I could’ve actually ordered a Pizza Hut pizza & went & sat on the Pizza Hut dining area at Nate’s. Encourage folks to do that! We slept in the bunk beds actually lol I had them growing up & was awesome again! And Nate is a 5⭐️ star host! His hospitality was way above average from my past Air BNB stays. Did not take him long at all to send info. & check in to see what our needs were. He is the friendliest guy & his wife as well. Come enjoy his retro home bring your friends & family & feel the kid in you come back in! Loved it!

Thank you so much for hosting us ! I know it was last minute but the hike and view on the New River Gorge national park was so worth the travel and short stay . Thank you ! Amazing place ! Fire wood for $5 and stargazing after a long hike was an extra touch !
