Tons of details like a salad bar, arcade games, console TV & VCR, tons of toys you used to have all make it an immersive experience. Just outside New River Gorge National Park, you can dive into memories with your kids or your friends. Need more space? The Game & Wizard Houses are literally around the corner.

Good to know

It's a cute 1950s Sears kit home in a quiet and safe blue collar neighborhood. The house has a fully fenced yard for your pups and a nice sized yard with fire pit. The rear deck has ample space and a propane grill. The New River Gorge Bridge, Ace Adventure Park, and downtown Fayetteville are only 10 minutes away! All the rafting companies are within 15 minutes. Most of the trails and sights in NRG are within a half hour drive. If you're looking for an extra fun place to stay while you visit the New River Gorge National Park, stay at Time Warp 80s!

Other Details to Note

Please be gentle with the furnishings, they were quite a bit of time and effort to acquire. The toys in the kids room are meant to be played with, if something is up high kindly let it be a decoration and reminder of your childhood. =) The house has a secret room though, can you find it?

We had a blast staying at this 80’s themed house! The amount of detail that the hosts put into the house was incredible. It took us over 4 hours to complete the escape room and we used a lot of hints too! The kids loved the Pizza Hut kitchen, pac man and playing Nintendo. We can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely incredible! We never left the house! We were transported back in time and it felt so relaxing and easy. The escape room took us 5+ hours...it was SO fun! When we found the secret room, we were amazed and thrilled! Every single corner, drawer, and shelf was so perfectly planned. My mom (65), myself (41), my daughters and niece (11, 7, 14) had an unforgettable time together reliving the past, eating in Pizza Hut, watching 80s movies and 90s shows, and competing for high scores at Pacman. Our girls got to experience a time unknown to them and they LOVED it. I could not recommend this house or hosts enough! Hosts were kind, informative, so incredibly organized, and creative. The town was quiet and accessible. You could get what you need, order food, and visit a few incredible sights. One million stars.

This air bnb is the cutest and it truly took you back to the 80's/90's. The furniture, rugs, toys, bathroom decor, kitchen, and dining area made you feel you were living your childhood all over again! We couldn't get over the fact the walls in the dining area and bedroom were hand painted--it's amazing! We got carry out pizza hut and enjoyed dinner in the pizza hut dining room--i would 100% recommend doing this! Also, the escape room was just a bonus; although, we did have to use a lot of the hints, lol!!! The host put a lot of creativity in this house, along with all the detail. I am a local and would definitely recommend renting this place. The cleanliness of this house was also a huge plus! We are excited to try the other houses they host in the area!

Holy STRANGER THINGS fans!!!! We are huge stranger things fans and we booked this time warp to the 80’s to make some of our own memories. The host went above and beyond with every 80’s era detail, the bathroom medicine cabinet, the wardrobe in the closet, the dishes in kitchen cabinet!!!! It’s all from your grandparents home or from the set of stranger things!! Our favorite things in the home were the escape room/scavenger hunt, the custom 80’s music playlist and the vintage TV that has modern TV features. We also had a blast trying to beat the highest score on the arcade games. Oh, and they have a functional Nintendo!!! I can’t say enough about the details and the fun we had just in the house. The place was immaculately clean and the grounds surrounding the house are so welcoming! The town offers vintage shops and we highly recommend visiting the cathedral cafe, the hobbit hole antiques, and the lost Appalachia store. These spots are all just a few miles from the house. Awesome Place!

Awesome place, from the minute you step in the door it is like you are back in the 80s again. It was so much fun and the escape room is a must. Very clean place with lots to see both in the house and in the surrounding towns. Great places to eat as well and the hosts provide a ton of useful information for your stay.

We had such a great time at the 80s nostalgia escape room! The decorations were spot on and really pulled you into the decade right away—so fun and immersive. The kids especially loved working through the puzzles and felt so proud every time they solved something. It was engaging for all ages and a really fun experience to do together as a family. We’d absolutely recommend it and would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The description was accurate. We stepped back in time. The attention to details in this house are amazing. The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were so helpful and kind. Easy instructions for the house, and they provided excellent recommendations for the area. We loved doing the escape room! It was such a fun group activity for us. We also spend time playing the arcade games and video games. We made sure to get pizza and eat at our own Pizza Hut! 10/10 would recommend this house. I can’t wait to check out other listings form this host!

Such an awesome little house! Def brought me back to my childhood. We came for my daughter’s 13th birthday and she loved looking at all the things. The escape room was an amazing bonus!

The New River Gorge Bridge, Fayetteville, and Ace Adventure Park are all just over 10 minutes away. There are numerous trails within 15-20 minutes. Oak Hill is a nice central location to visit the New River Gorge National Park. You can walk to Tudor's Biscuit World or McDonald's for breakfast, but generally you'll want a car.
