The Wizard House sits next to the Game House at the end of a dead end street in a quiet and safe blue collar neighborhood in Oak Hill WV. There's a cemetery on the other side of the dead end, so the neighbors there are quiet but take good care of the lawn. =)
Guest Access
You have access to the whole house and the backyard grill and eating area, the rest of the backyard including a firepit and playhouse is shared with the Game House next door - it's a good chance to make friends!

We surprised our kids with this Airbnb for our son’s 7th birthday. They were both very excited when we got there & they realized it was Harry Potter themed. The rooms were all decorated and had so many little details to take in. The place looks like the pictures. We watched several of the movies provided while we were there and our kids would’ve been happy to not leave to go to restaurants or to do any other activities during our stay. There was a HP board game and several others too The escape room in the closet between the two bedrooms was also fun. Plan to allow time to do that for more added fun! Easy to say the kids did not want to leave when it was our time to checkout.

We had an absolutely magical stay at this Harry Potter–themed house! My three boys had an absolute blast from the moment we walked in. The level of detail throughout the house was incredible—no detail was missed in the decorating, and it truly felt like stepping into another world.
The escape room was especially engaging and so much fun for me and the kids. We only stayed for one night, but there was so much to enjoy that we easily could have stayed longer. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families. We would love to come back again for a longer stay!

This house is so fun. We loved the decor and enjoyed the escape room. We watched Harry Potter movies at night. We also loved the colorful kitchen.
The location is great - just 10 minutes from New River Gorge. The hikes Nate recommended were great.

We surprised our young children with this trip! I have always been a fan of Harry Potter and have been watching and teaching my kids about it! They were able to spot everything in the house and loved the kids room! Our hosts were wonderful in sending all the recommendations needed which came in handy!! We hit up many food locations listed! The house had everything we needed and no issues!! Would love to stay at another one of their properties!

You can walk to Tudor's Biscuit World for biscuits and gravy (highly recommended, just get one and know that it's heavy, good hiking fuel!), McDonald's, the Frozen Barn for ice cream, take a walk in the High Lawn Cemetery next door, grab a bite at the Heart of Gold Diner, play videogames at Retro Reset Games, and more.
